Thank you Sharon for taking the time to re process this. I like your version very much, it is certainly an improvement on mine. I will bear your comments in mind when processing in future. Julie |

My first impression of this image was that it was a little too grey and that more contrast was needed so I agree with Helen's and Sharon's comments. I didn't notice the wire until it was pointed out but I do agree that it should be cloned out. I wonder whether it was possible to use one of the paths as a lead in line to the church? Just a suggestion as it is an interesting building and maybe it would make an even more attractive image from a slightly different angle? |

I think this has a surreal, almost fairy tale feel to it. Your ribbon was well deserved. It is a lovely image and your hard work has really been worthwhile. |

Hello Helen. Yes, looking at this again, I can see that more contrast is needed. Your suggestion regarding cropping the image is also a good one. Many thanks, Julie. |

Another lovely composition Helen. The stream provides a perfect lead in line to the buildings in the background. I like the subtle tones of blue that you have achieved. Maybe I would have darkened the bright white of the building wall on the left side as it is rather dominant but this is the only suggestion I can make to improve this very appealing image. |

What a lovely setting for a wedding and I think your image makes the most of it. I really like the contrast between the castle and the foliage surrounding it. An added bonus is the fence just peeping through the foliage in front of the building. Your processing has also made the most of the texture in the brickwork of the castle. A lovely image. |

Another image with an interesting story behind it from you. I like the way you have processed the original to achieve greater contrast. It was obviously shot either early in the morning or late in the day as there are some very long shadows which make the image very atmospheric. Possibly cropping the top of the image might improve it by placing more emphasis on the action taking place in the foreground but this might be at the expense of its story telling value. I have seen close up images of these nomads but your image gives a wider perspective. Very interesting. |

Another lovely image Sharon. I particularly like the way the path leads your eye through the forest and the effect you have achieved with deep forest glow. Your processing has made the most of this image and the only suggestion I would make is to lighten the vase in the middle ground to bring out some of the detail in it. |
