I like the boulders in the foreground and the monument but I find some of the elements, such as the white building and fencing, intrusive. I wonder whether you could have eliminated these by taking the image from a lower angle. I think there is the potential for a stronger image by cloning more of the distracting elements out although I appreciate that you have already removed some. I wonder also whether a square format would work better. |

An interesting photograph clearly associated with happy memories. I would have liked to see more of the cafe and wonder whether this could have been achieved by taking the image from the walkway? I also wonder whether this would have eliminated the foliage that intrudes on the left hand side as I find this makes the image a little busy. |

This is a really unusual image, I doubt that I would have thought of using IR in this situation but it seems to work really well. To me this image has a mysterious, almost creepy, atmosphere which I really like. The lampposts provide a perfect lead in to the building. Congratulations on producing such an original photo. |

You seem to have quite a few of these really interesting cabins in the USA. This one appears to be a particularly well preserved example. I like the angle you have taken this from. The detail in the stonework is excellent and this contrasts well with the trees. It does though appear that the trees are leaning inwards, the result I imagine of using a wide angle lens. I would suggest that you straighten these if there is room to do so. |
