I think this is another image that tells a story. I wonder what it was that brought about the demise of this tree, a storm, lightning or just old age? While the stump does provide a strong focal point I think the background also has interest as it is typical of the parkland to be found in England. The sky for me too has a lot of interest. There is just a small vapour trail that is bugging me which I would have removed. A minor detail in an overall pleasing image. |

The use of IR works well on the tulips but I would have liked to see more of the flowers either side of the main subject, I feel that the image is a little bit squeezed in by cropping it so tightly. Having said this you have done well to isolate the main bloom as a centre piece as much as you have, this is always difficult in a crowded flower bed. |

Is this the church at Buttermere? I've often looked at it but not found a satisfactory angle to take it from. You seem to have found one. The first thing that struck me about this image was the interesting clouds in the sky which really enhance the image. I also like the way the wall leads the eye to the church but I agree with Helen regarding darkening the base. |

This makes a great IR subject, I wish I'd thought of it when I visited Bandon Beach in 2015. I like the angle you have taken this from and there is a good contrast between the rocks and waves. Your crop has improved the drama of the image by taking out the rather bland sky and focusing the attention on the waves and rocks. |

An interesting image that tells a story. You are fortunate to have so much land which provides the space for these vehicles to just be left to decay. A great idea to recycle instead although if everyone did this we photographers would have fewer of these interesting vehicles as subject matter. I cannot make any suggestions as to how it might be improved. |
