23 Sep 24 Comment You were really lucky to capture this young cub doing his thing up in a tree... Closeups of such animals aren't easy to get, but you did a great job... Sep 23rd
23 Sep 24 Comment Sunsets are my favorite times of the day, as I'm not a morning person. However, on several cruises I was able to get some fantastic sunrises, as we approached land, with one very similar to this one... My only suggestion would be to remove the lines in the water and see if you could straighten the water line a bit, and it leans to the right. Sep 23rd
23 Sep 24 Comment I use the squaring up tool a lot with buildings, etc. I think you did a good job overall but the "off angle" at the top of the door still bothers me a bit... However, not seeing the original it might be the best you could do... Love the colors.... Sep 23rd
23 Sep 24 Comment License plates are some of my favorite subjects.. This one really "hits home" with the statement of being PAID OFF... By having more in the photos of the grill and pipes, it really is outstanding. Sep 23rd
23 Sep 24 Comment Yes, this one really needs to be cleaned up, by removing the upper branch and the spiderwebs... Otherwise it is a very pleasing image. Love the backlighting on the 3 buds. Sep 23rd

65 Sep 24 Comment Yes, I really like the dark background better. When shooting tall flowers, such as this, I might suggest that you shoot it at an angle, and not straight up and down... I have shot these thistles many times here in the valley and in the foothills of the Sierra Mts. They are really fun to shoot... Sep 29th
65 Sep 24 Comment This image is very well done, with the "cleaning up" that you did. I like the soft green background that you used and it really make the blossom stand out. Sep 29th
65 Sep 24 Comment I must agree that your image is cropped too tight, and isn't as sharp as it appears in the image that David did... Sep 29th
65 Sep 24 Comment Very well done... However, it might just be me, but I find the back petals a little too soft. Sep 29th
65 Sep 24 Comment Moving in close really shows the details of the petals, and the center of the blossom...Everything is sharp as it should be in such a composition. The colors really POP!!! Sep 29th
65 Sep 24 Comment Yes, I can see the 3 seasons very clearly. It's not easy to capture such an image, unless you look for it at the right time. There is great detail in the snow, and the leaf is very colorful. It's unusual to also have the very tiny white blossoms under the snow. Very well done... Sep 29th
