Thanks, but I think I did that in another very similar scene, and, I should have also done it in this one before submitting it... |

I love this one. The only other comment is that I might try to clone out the light streak on the right side of the image, as it is a bit distracting. However, If you do it can't be entered in any nature competition... |

Yes, I agree that the image needs to be cropped as the gaiter is dead center of the image. The animal is nice and sharp too.. |

Great shot of the eclipse and then using the church really made a dramatic image. |

Well, I got my first little Kodak camera (Hawkeye) back in the late 40's and took black and white photos all thru high school... In 1952 I discovered the slide camera and got my first Argus C3 camera for $35, and I used until I went digital in 2012. I still have the Argus for "posterity"....As I said my Nikon cameras and lens equipment were getting to be too heavy for me and then I started traveling all over the world with my sister... taking slides, prints and in some countries video...I traveling to over 74 countries before my health became such an issue that I had to stop doing even the cruises... chronic back pain made traveling very difficult...So, now the only photography I do, besides family and great-grandchildren, is the PSA 365 challenge and group 65. |

A new flower for me.. I really like the colors and sharpness of the blossoms. Having the 3 very long parts of the flower add depth and dimension... Well done... |

Way too much technical info for me, as I sold all of my Nikon cameras and equipment several years ago, as they were getting too heavy for me to manage... I now shoot everything with a Panasonic Lumix DMC 100 Point and shoot camera, which has a fantastic macro feature of less than 2 inches... While the photos might not be in the quality of those who do shoot with very expensive equipment, I am happy with what I do get...I will be 92 later this year, so the small camera is ideal for all of the photography I do now. and it is carried with me wherever I go. Check the PSA 365 Challenge.... |

Yes, butterflies are hard to photograph as they don't stand still very long. I love the cropping that David did to focus on the butterfly, more than the flower itself. |

I agree that there is way too much black negative space on the right side... I might crop it even more on the right side as well as at the bottom to bring the tulip more in interest. Love the lighting on the tulip. Giving it a thin red border really sets it off too... |

While I wasn't able to submit a flower/plant image this month I certainly appreciate those who did... Now, as far as this image of the liverworts, I love the shades of green and the composition is right on. I have never "stacked" an image and to be honest I don't know how to do it, and it is impossible to do with the point and shoot camera that I have been using for the past 14 years, having sold all of my Nikon cameras and equipment a few years ago.... |
