20 Dec 22 Comment Love the 2 kittens in a field of daisies... I have had cats and kittens most of my life, but, due to health issues, I can no longer have them in my home, as they could trip me and down I would go!!!! That being said I really love the expressions on them... nice and sharp and full of mischief... Dec 18th
20 Dec 22 Comment I would like to see the image a bit larger also.... Great creativity with a simple subject... Well done.... Dec 18th
20 Dec 22 Comment Very well done. I agree that you need to brighten up the background a bit more... and bring out more detail in the brick work... Dec 18th
20 Dec 22 Comment How sad to have to deal with this disease... That being said, I love the way you have added the color to the image. It makes it all the more poignant. Dec 18th
20 Dec 22 Comment I like what you have done, by removing a lot of distractions and adding the oval frame... The only thing I would still remove is the small white object on the left side under the upswing piece... Dec 18th
20 Dec 22 Comment Here is another version of the onion bird... It looks like I may have pulled his tailfeathers up more than what is being shown here... Dec 18th

20 Dec 22 Reply Yes, you can now see the original, but, for some reason the black and white image is gone... Oh, well.. I have never seen an onion dry to this shape, which looked like a bird, with tall tailfeathers.... So, I had to do something with it, and this was the result.... Dec 18th

23 Dec 22 Reply That explains the smoothness of the background, however, I still say it would be better if the background had a bit more texture...just my opinion... Dec 19th
23 Dec 22 Comment Sometimes no matter what we do it just doesn't come out the way we saw it.... However, the subject is too good not to take advantage of the actions of the 2 swans... not a true nature image, but might do OK in a Pictorial competition, due to the photo shop work.... Dec 18th
23 Dec 22 Comment My only comment would be to crop down the top down to eliminate the very bright streetlamp, as it is quite prominent..or try to clone it out. Love the colors and composition. Dec 18th
23 Dec 22 Comment Love the motion of the bicyclist... simple and direct...The colors blend well. Dec 18th
23 Dec 22 Comment For some reason the big pumpkin looks like it was pasted onto the background, which I'm sure it wasn't. I would like to see some more detail such as folds at the bottom to create a little bit of texture.... Dec 18th

61 Dec 22 Comment Since I don't take photos on my cell phone I can't comment of the technique... Sorry, but I'm just too old-fashioned to the use of cell phones... that being said, this image is very well done, but, I might add just a very light border to break it from the background,.. Dec 28th
61 Dec 22 Comment Love what you have done with these flowers.... I might prefer the background to be a bit darker though, so that it doesn't compete with the colors in the bouquet. Dec 28th
61 Dec 22 Comment This is one flower that is enhanced by a bit of saturation, etc. Although the original is the natural color, your other image is more pictorial... but would not be acceptable in any Nature competition due to the enhancement... Dec 28th
61 Dec 22 Comment I agree with everyone who said that the flowers seem to "float in space", and that the image needed a border to contain the flowers... I don't have any objections to having the petals elongated, since it is pictorial, and not nature... Dec 28th
61 Dec 22 Comment I, too, like the reversed image better... I still think a very light border would keep the background from dissolving into space.... Love the color and sharpness... Dec 28th
61 Dec 22 Comment Very well done, with a simple subject...I, too, would like the background to be darker with less distractive colors.. Dec 28th
