Very well done... I like the concept of the checkerboard and players. Not sure about the 3 very bright windows on the walls... Do they add to the image, I don't think so... Maybe darken them a bit more. |

Agree with Bob that the piano is lost in the background, whereas it should be prominent instrument. While I'm not a fan of ragtime I think the piano should be main interest.
Good idea though and well composed. |

I agree with everyone that the tree is a major distraction and needs to be removed...Also there should be a shadow on the ground of the dark horse in the right background, as it looks like he is floating now.. I fail to see the connection of the horses and the transparent cowboy....

I really like the completed image, but, being picky, I would have darkened the girl's long hair a bit more. I appreciate the many steps you had to take to do this, as I never learned how to use multiple layers on an image.... I can only do 2 layers at a time.... |

Your image of the duck is great, however, I would like to have seen more of its face in maybe a semi-profile...Like the mottled background, as it sets the birds face apart from the background.. |

Amazing architectural image...The off set building really sends this image to the top score...Great lighting and the dark sky and clouds add to the atmosphere. |

This image is one that I could hang on my wall and look at many times as I pass it.... very sharp, well composed, and, there is just the hint of a very thin border to set it off... |

Love the lighting on this image.. having a dark background really sets it off. |

To me, the spider adds to the image, but just barely, as it could be an abstraction otherwise...I do like the soft pink curves of the flower though... |

I have to agree with a couple of other commentators, that the grainy effect is a bit over-done... almost like the Elements "Poster Edge" effects. Not sure I like the bright red diagonal "leaf" across the image either, as it seems to cut the floweres in half... |

Now, this image is "abstract" in every sense of the word. I love what you have done with the white Amaryllis.... Great color and contrast... good job.... |

I like what you have done with the red roses, that is, making them darker, etc. However, I'm not sure it fits the definition of abstract as all petals, except the outer edged ones, are sharp.... just my opinion about the abstract. |

I have to agree with the comments regarding this being a "true abstract"... As I commented on another image, my idea of an abstract is that the image should be total different than the original... Here the Dandelion is still very distinct, even though the background is blurred, etc. |

I don't really feel that this image is a true "abstract" as the subject is still defined....Abstract images are hard to do or to make, but I feel that they should not only improve the original subject, but still be different,... does that make any sense at all? |
