I love the subtle pink behind the tulip which adds to the image. Like the simplicity of the plant and the angle on which you have it.... Try flipping it to "read left to right" and see what the effect is.... |

Godd job in creating this image in monochrome as it makes it more dramatic. Love the action of the clouds, which really makes this image stand out. |

Good job on creating all the elements in this scene... The only thing that bothers me a bit, is that it is smack dab in the center of the image... However, moving it to one side or the other would not be as effective.... |

Really like the arrangement of three flowers...Yes, the green leaves in the lower left have to go... also darken the other leaves in the upper right corner a bit.... good effect... |

Yes, I have to agree that the dragon is lost in this image, even though you have highlighted it's eyes... Your using 17 layers to create this image is beyond my imagination... as I can only do 2 or 3 layers...There is a lot to look at in this scene, as my eyes go from one subject to another one... |

That's OK....I was just having some fun with some veggies....I know that not everyone will appreciate the effect, but, that's OK with me, really it is. |

I Like the end result of merging 2 images.. my only critique is that the large purple flower in the very low right corner bothers me...as I think it conflicts with the tall, stemmed plant...I haven't done much of this kind of merging, but really like the final effect. |

I would agree with everyone that the image needed to be cropped some on the left side. In this case I prefer the dark green background instead of the totally black one, which makes the flower seem to float in space.... |

Very nice job on this image... I love black backgrounds and do a lot of my creative setups with black backgrounds. This said, I also carry a small piece of black cloth on a small cardboard to place behind flowers when taking them in nature...or try to place then in front of a shaded area to create dark backgrounds.... it makes them really stand out.

If it were mine, I would remove or clone out the lily pad leaves in the upper right corner, as they are a distraction. Love the fact that you caught the bee, as it really adds to the image...The deep shadows below the lilies add depth to the photo also... |

I agree with everyone that the cropping really helped this image...Also by removing the thin lines in the background.. Sometimes we can do a bit of "gardening" before taking the photo, but, if not, then photo shop out the distractions... |

I guess I could crop or clone off the very end of the one petal so that it doesn't touch the edge, but did that really matter in the end result.. As it received several gold medal BOS and HMs in the Internationals....which is all that really matters... |
