Your explanations are way over my head, but I like the end result... I sold all of my Nikon cameras, lens, etc. about 10 years ago. as they became too heavy for me to hold, and now shoot only with a very nice Panasonic Lumix SZ100 point and shoot camera... which has many nice features to use... I love the textured mood of the final image, which almost looks like a painting. |

Agree about the saturation.... otherwise, this is a very intriguing portrait of an old man who has had a very hard life. Darkening the background really helped isolate the man's face.... well done... |

I really like the final result, except for the white things at the very bottom... I think they could be coned out very easily. Love the colors of the two tulips, as they have been blended very well... |

Well done... something that I could never do...so many layers. I like the concept of space and the planet, which is positioned just off center....If this were mine, I would darken the bridge just a tad more, as it dominates the scene. |

Not an image I would want to hang on my wall, but, it is well done. It's a bit too realistic for my mind.... I would suggest that you clone out the dark line just above the hand. It might have been better to have had the original background in one piece and curved so that the line didn't appear... |

I think there was a creative filter used on this one, which would make it not as sharp as it really was...this is more so evident in the 2 small circles in the upper left of the image.
Not sure if I still have the original or not...will keep looking for it if I do have it... |

Your image is nice and sharp, as it should be... However, several things bother me a bit...what are the circles just above the insect's head? did you try to remove something or not, and if not, perhaps you could remove them, as they are a distraction...wish the leaf that he is on was a bit sharper too... |

I agree with Richard on the very fine dark lines... Not sure just how they got there, but they are a distraction. I have found when taking tall stemmed flowers that having them slightly at an angle is more pleasing than just straight up and down....just a matter of opinion...however, this might not apply to all tall flowers..I would have preferred a tad more space below the leaves at the bottom also. |

Another subject that I have taken many photos of...inside churches, etc. You have managed to arrange all of the hanging lamps just right.... good, sharp image. and, the lighting is perfect. |

I really like what you have done to this image. Adding the white swan was a stroke of genius, for what it's worth..It looks so natural... the canoeist wasn't the right one...Love the abstract mood of the trees and reflections in the water. I could hang this one on my wall and look at it all day long!!! |

Nice portrait.... however, 2 things bother me a bit... the "log" in the upper left corner should be cloned out. Also, I would have liked to have had the man's right hand completely shown in the image...Nice and sharp, and the colors are great. |

I can only assume that there might have been a slight breeze at the time, which would cause the tail feathers to blur. Otherwise, I have no answer as to why it looks disconnected. |

Yes, I love to take photos of flowers after a rain.... so, this is why I have at least 2 dozen different flowers with rain or water drops....will wait a while before showing some more. I sold almost all of my Nikon cameras and lens, when they became too heavy for me to use, and I didn't want to carry a tripod with me.... so, everything that you will see has been taken with a point and shoot camera, which is a fantastic camera. It has aperture priority, shutter priority, which enables me to choose some features if I need to... Plus, as I said, a fantastic macro capability of approximately 2 inches... |
