While I Know that many judges do not like borders, I love them and feel that they make the photo stand out more, especially when the background is dark...you might want to check Group 23 also, as I have an image in that group. |

Very well done image. I have not tried to do this, but you were very successful in getting an outstanding image... |

Another image that just begs for a narrow off-white or white border to show the edge of the image....otherwise, it seems to float in space...This is something I have never done, so, I'm no expert in the lighting effects. |

Love the final effect you achieved with this subject. Abstracts are some of my favorite photographic techniques and, this one is tops....Only comment might be to clone in the light triangle at the bottom left corner with the dark strip. |

Interesting what a change from the colored version to the black and white rendition.... Both are good, but, it's a matter of personal preference. I feel there is enough drama in the colored version to tell the story of the Creek fire and the logging of some trees that is going on now. |

Sorry, but I don't have any idea on how to add more mist. I only know how to cover it up!!! |

OK, I Now see what you were trying to do....but it wasn't showing in the scene... the "mist" needs to be more prominent to be effective... |

Nice capture...but, the foremost petals at the lower part seem to be out of focus... |

Nicely done. I think the reflections of the bridge really add to the scene. If it were mine I would darken the buildings a bit, especially the roofs....

One thing that bothers me a bit is the bright area at the top of the scene..Have you tried to darken it? I really like the overall mood of the forest though. |

Since you were in Yellowstone in the winter you were able to catch the steam from their bodies, which adds to the scene... good composition of all of the animals too... |

Another great animal portrait....sharp with great detail in his fur...Only comment would be to add a narrow white or off-white border as the background is sooooo dark.... |
