Very interesting image....my only comment would be to brighten or lighten the entire image just a tad more and add a neutral border to separate the girl from the background more... |

If it were mine I might increase the saturation just a tad more...good seeing of the original and then turning it into another colorful creative image... |

Remove the one swan under the big swan's beak and it is now a perfect image for the girl doing her "Swan Lake" rendition. Very well thought out...lucky for you to have "grabbed" those swans in the pond.... |

While I like the effect on the background it just doesn't do it for me to have it on his face....clothing OK, but not his skin.... |

Very well done. Love the streaked background behind the 3 children. I agree that adding some of the streaking at the bottom of the image below the children would tie it all together more... |

While I am a great fan of increasing color in images, I feel the colors are a bit tooooo much for this scene....They don't look natural, esspecially the green, but, that is the effect you wanted to do with this one... |

That's OK. not everyone likes some of the "obvious" filter techniques. If I were to redo it I would erase the pitcher and flowers to their original and keep only the background. |

If this were mine I would remove both of the grey twigs on the right side...and maybe the twig on the left side that leads into the bird's face....otherwise it is perfect as is..for nature....removing the twigs is not allowed in the nature salons, but is acceptable in Pictorial... |

Agree with all of the above comments...more space at the top, etc. very sharp and great detail in the feathers. |

Again, one of the "rules" of photography is that if the subject is a vertical then it should be taken as a vertical, although rules can be broken.....While this scene is very nice I think it would be better as a vertical...This would put more emphasis on the cactus... |

Very nice light and water dropplets on the tomatoes...I was fortunate to work as a volunteer for our local food bank for almost 14 years...One of my favorite kinds of photos was the hundreds of veggies and fruits we gave out....If this scene were mine, however, I would crop off the out-of-focus leaves and bright spots at the bottom, and focus on the tomatoes.. also the bright white area on the upper left...clone it out with the black background. |

Very nice rendition of the flower in black and white..I also, would like to see more of the stem so that it isn't "floating" in space...great detail in the petals with the shadows, etc. |

Great capture of the wall. By adding an interesting sky it makes the scene more poetic. I visited the Great Wall in 1998 when I was 66 years.. I remember walking or climbing the stairs to the 1st lookout....only one in our tour group to do so.... |

No, I wasn't able to get any closeups of the poppies along the Merced River, as they are far up on the hillsides and not close to the road. However, I did get many closeups of the poppies, etc. on another trip up east of Fresno at Pine Flat on Trimmer Road. But, that's another story....maybe next month... |
