It could be a Van Gogh style, but, it wasn't put into the title, so, I don't remember just which painting effect it was. |

At first I had a hard time trying to see the figures, but, having looked at it again, they do show up...You did a good job of removing all of the distracting elements in the background. |

Yes, I agree with Nellie on this one. Very well done, and so appropriate for a Christmas, unlike we have ever seen before..The deer are placed exactly where they should be.. |

Not sure about this one...While I do appreciate your creativity it doesn't really do anything for me. I would also suggest that you remove the "hallows" around the 2 small leaves and above the yellow petals on top of the flower. |

Very well done...the colors of the straws are vivid and captivating....many places to look at....Leaving space at the top really adds to the image... |

I, too, would have darkened the basin as well as other parts of the mountain, giving more contrast. However, this is what you saw, as it appears to have been taken at high noon... Dave's rendition is much more dramatic. |

Very nice capture of emotions of the 2 children...My comment would be to crop both sides to eliminate distracting items from the scene, especially the wood on the right side. Also crop the left side out to just leave her elbow showing...You can clone out the red railing at this point too...Having their legs in is also a bit of distraction, but that is one's choice or not... |

Very well done, but I have to agree about the one very sharp white stalk which is in front of the dried bud...I think it could be coned out without destroying the rest of the photo. The background could be a tad darker but won't be easy to do this with so many white stems. |

Very nicely done photo of a snow scene far away from us. I have never been to Iceland, even though I have been to 67 countries of the world...This would make a beautiful Christmas card....Having people scattered here and there really adds to the scene.... |

While I appreciate the fact that you tried something different, I feel that it falls short of being a really great image...Your creativity is to be commended, but I find the image hard to look at for any length of time... Perhaps if you had been able to have had his head sharper it might be a better image... These things are not easy to do, by any means, but you did the best you could with the movement of the figure. Actually I prefer the green original... |

I know that the seed pods were not as sharp as I would have liked them to be, but they were at least 6-8 feet or more high up on the tree. Since I'm only using my Panasonic Lumix P&S camera now sharpness is sometimes not the easiest to get, even using the aperture setting. |
