I do like what you have done with this scene...As I said the tree could not be erased as the sky would come thru, but, in what you did you erased both the tree and the sky....just one more way of doing something creative...thanks.. |

I have no idea on what to do with what you are suggesting....
I only know how to do 2 layers...My experience with trees is that it's very difficult to erase only the branches, and not the sky that is shown between them...I do think that bringing back the golden color of the weeds alongside the cabin would help more with interest...where there is no sky showing it can be done, as with the green shrubbery along the road. |

I would have liked to have had the tree erased along with the cabin, but...previous experience tells me that trees DO NOT erase well at all, which is why I didn't erase the tree. |

I like the final effect, but, were it mine I would perhaps crop some more of the very bright white area on the bottom....It really dominates the scene....The overall effect is very nice. |

Nice subject matter. My only comment is that it is too close to the right edge of the frame...I feel that it needs a bit more space on the right...but don't put it dead center..I do like the split frame effect... |

Very nice....my only comment is that I would have liked to have had the corners darker instead of the white...a vignette effect. |

I like the creative effect over the original image...well done. You have still given the motion of the waves the center of attention...I might have liked them to have been a bit sharper, but that was your choice. |

It looks to me like there are 2 separate images, as the colors are totally different...with the straight line on the left side. That being said, I still like what you have done, which is how I do a lot of my abstracts also... |

My preference is the zoom in one...very strong action...It almost looks like a water fountain in this one...Love it...AS to your original above...I feel it's a bit too busy...and centered.
However, having done this technique many times myself I know that it isn't easy to control the "bull's eye" effect...that can only be done by cropping the center out of dead center... |

Portraits are my hardest photos...However, I feel this one really captures the "moment" and does not appear to be posed. good lighting with only one catch light in her right eye...Well done. |

Rather than crop out the tree on the right, try cloning it out so that all of the other trees remain...One simple stroke down would eliminate the bright tree trunk...However, if you did this you couldn't enter it in a Nature competition...great clouds... |

Being a photo judge myself for many years I would still have given this image a top score...taking live action sports is one of the hardest things to do...as someone said, take 300 and hope for at least one good one!!! Very well done, sharp action, and the four riders are all nicely separated... |

Even with a minor "distortion" of the orange building on the right side, the overall is very crisp and sharp...Well, done..You were very lucky to have gotten out when you did, due to the covid shut down...My cruise down the Rhine last May was cancelled, and rebooked for next May...Unless the virus is contained I may not be able to do it at that time either...Will just have to wait and see what the situation is then.. |
