Group Round C/R Comment Date Image
18 May 20 Comment Greetings from groups 20 (creative) and 23...I have a really easy suggestion to take this image one step farther...Put your original image, before Topaz, onto your computer screen. then OPEN this image...click on it and move it on top of the original...then go to the left of your screen and click on the ERASE tool...then very carefully erase the bike and the blue pot...bringing the original bike up against the creative background...Final step is to merge the 2 layers. .try this...you might like it...I do this all the time with my shoes and they get top scores for creativity... 20 May 20 Comment Interesting image. Only wish there wasn't so much space between the fireworks and the silhouette, as my eye keeps going back and forth...otherwise it is well done. May 29th
20 May 20 Reply No, I haven't done that process yet...sounds interesting and a lot less set up..thanks for the tip. May 20th
20 May 20 Comment Very nice image....I really like the overall effect of the buildings...however, please remove the tiny black line in the upper right corner, and the bright white rock in the lower right corner....tiny distractions, but they are easily removed... May 17th
20 May 20 Comment Yes, I think you could save this scene by making the man and bench a different color, so that it doesn't blend in with the same color blue water. May 3rd
20 May 20 Reply If you have any problems let me know...I think I put all of the steps in the comment... May 3rd
20 May 20 Comment Sorry, Betty, but this one just doesn't do a thing for me...in a way it falls short of so many of your very creative images. The bottle at the lower center is a total distraction to me.. Interesting scene, but not in this way... May 3rd
20 May 20 Comment Interesting and creative. but, I would like to see a very narrow white border around it as everything merges into the black background. May 3rd
20 May 20 Comment There is another image in another group with a red bicycle that I made a comment on...so, I will repeat my suggestion with this scene....it will give you one more creative image...open the original on your computer screen...then open this creative one and move it on top of the original...go to the left side and select the ERASE tool. Carefully erase the men and gondola, bringing the original up front and on top of the creative version..then click on the Merge menu....I do this all the time with my Women's Shoes that I'm famous for...very effective...so, try it..you might like it. May 3rd
20 May 20 Comment Interesting image...however, I find that the man asleep on the bench almost merges into the blue water, whereas, he is more separated in the 2nd image...Also my eye bounces back and forth from him and the bright red building....not sure what you can do to ease this scene...good use of a creative technique for the overall scene. 23 May 20 Reply I did a count several months ago, when I was asked how many shoes I have already photographed, and it was way over 300 pairs of shoes...Many have been photo shopped for different effects too...which brought the count to almost 500...at least that is the count of shoes in several folders....I still have at least 50-60 pairs to shoot, and then I hope to stop doing it....enough is enough!!!! May 18th
23 May 20 Comment Very nice action shot of the player...good sharp detail in his attire....well done... May 17th
23 May 20 Comment Very nice image....one that draws one's attention to the barrels.. Love the texture in them, as they indicate age and mystery...Only thing that bothers me a bit is the overly bright sky and bushes...I know it's very difficult to darken or tone down such a sky, so perhaps you might consider replacing it with a darker sky... May 17th
23 May 20 Reply Good idea to use a clear plastic stand, but, where will I find one until this lock down is over...I don't think I have ever seen one in any of the thrift stores... May 3rd
23 May 20 Comment Yes, much better, don't you think? The other pieces in the background are OK, but the grey wood...it had to go... May 3rd
23 May 20 Comment Interesting image of the plant...good use of the lensbaby. Not much else to say about it, as it is well done. May 3rd
23 May 20 Comment Very nice capture of the desert...not easy to get clouds in a scene too....the lighting on the cactus is perfect... May 3rd
23 May 20 Comment Very well done. I really like the expressions on their faces, in character...only thing that bothers me a tad, is the grey triangle of wood at the upper right corner...it can easily be removed... May 3rd
