20 Feb 20 Comment Thanks for the info. will try again to see if it will work on a similar flower... Feb 21st
20 Feb 20 Comment Good idea..but, the distortion of you hand bothers me a bit...and I'm not sure about the color of the wide wooden frame..I do like that you have placed some leaves outside on the frame. Feb 20th
20 Feb 20 Comment Interesting scene. However, where did the green land come from that is showing? It seems out of place with the ocean...good idea though, and well thought out. Feb 20th
20 Feb 20 Comment For some reason the color really bothers me....The overall blue doesn't seem to fit the scene.....I saw this fountain when in Rome and took a number of photos. However, there was no water in the fountain, as they were cleaning it.. Feb 20th
20 Feb 20 Comment Very well done....will have to try your method sometime. Elements has a filter that almost does this, but it isn't complete.... Feb 20th
20 Feb 20 Comment Love this one....Having the petals at different sizes really gives this flower a new look....While it is a bit of fantasy it still have reality with the bee in very sharp focus. Feb 20th
20 Feb 20 Reply Yes, I agree that erasing the train to the original would improve the overall image...yet still give a sense of creativity. Feb 11th

23 Feb 20 Comment Sorry, but the border still doesn't show Perhaps if you used a lighter one it would, but it definitely needs a border since the background is so dark....good composition and capture of the water drops... Feb 21st
23 Feb 20 Comment Very nice scenic of Sydney....I have always wanted to visit Australia, but never got the chance...I had a dear friend who lived just south of Sydney who invited me down several times. He came up to the US and spent several months with another photographer here in Madera. However, he passed away before I was able to accept his invitation...I, too, think this scene could be a tad stronger if a bit of the left, top and right were cropped. Personal preference only....great mood of the scene... Feb 20th
23 Feb 20 Comment Very nice scenic...If it were mine though, I might have cropped a bit off the left side to just where the small white line on the horizon is....good detail in the snow and the snow laden tree. Feb 20th
23 Feb 20 Comment I really like the "strong" attitude of the man....and, having it in black and white seems to give it more strength...I, too, would have liked to have had a tiny bit more space at the top of his head....Great character photo.... Feb 20th
23 Feb 20 Reply Actually I have no idea what lens was used, as the only camera I now use is a Panasonic Lumix SZ40, which is a point and shoot camera. The only thing I do is compose the subject and shoot it!!! The camera doesn't record anything other than the date the image was taken...The camera does have a very nice wide angle all the way out to a telephoto...24 to 720.... Feb 12th
