Just to let you know that Sam Shaw, FPSA MPSA was our judge a few days ago and loved this image....giving it a top score of 10....will be interesting to hear what our council judge gives it next month when I enter it in Pictorial. I agree that it might be better if the one on the right were looking to the left more, but those items are no longer in the store to do this... |

Very interesting color rendition to the original image. Since there isn't too much of interest at the bottom I might be tempted to crop some of it out of the scene to concentrate on the figures... |

Love the final effect....the bee makes your image a winner...not sure I like the blue background, but it does work in this image... |

Thanks.....will be interesting to hear what the judges say in club and council next month....Yes, this was a fun one to do....by having the back pumpkins in monochrome it separated the ones in front more.... |

I almost didn't submit this one, as I knew everyone would say it was "not sharp", etc. but, the cuteness of the cats was too good to pass up....win some lose some, as the saying goes.. |

I am involved with PSA's 365 challenge, so this was taken for the assignment on Oct. 24...."Twelve O'clock"...If you wish to see my images for each month as well as sometimes 9 or 10 other images go to the PSA site...Gallery > 365. and click on the month....some very interesting assignments....as I said, I liked the cats more than the fact that they weren't tack sharp.. |

Taking photos of birds, etc. from a boat is always tricky, but you were lucky and got an excellent photo of the bird... |

Great portrait of the eagle...I only wish you could somehow get rid of the very distracting fencing....It might take a lot of work, but try cloning the bars out and bringing the dark green color in the upper left down... |

Good use of a slow shutter speed to blur the water...which gives it motion in itself....Not sure if I like the green moss in the foreground or not, but, it does add more interest in the scene...very well done.... |

These are colors we don't often see here in the US..except maybe San Francisco...Good that you were able to get the clouds which add to the scene. |

I love the mono image....I think it gives a stronger statement of the man and what he is doing...it could almost have been taken a hundred years ago.... |

Yes, I know that the cats aren't as sharp as I would have liked them to be, but they were under glass, so that affected the sharpness...But, I chose to get the photo for the cuteness of the cats and it fit the assignment of "Twelve O'clock"....I guess I could have bought the clock and removed the glass, but it really wasn't worth doing that.... |
