Too bad that there isn't more space at the bottom, as the one flower touches the border...I had not heard of this plant, so your story was fascinating...great detail in the huge ball even though it is textured... |

I like the painted version over the original...some high splashing waves would have been nice, but they weren't there, so one has to take what is....now that I look at it again, the lighthouse does seem a bit tilted to the right.. |

I feel it would benefit with a bit of lightening...however, that might destroy the mood of the image....very well done... |

Love the final effect...I have done a lot with the polar technique and they really are different...perhaps I'll submit one next month and see what others say about this creative filter... |

Very well done...by adding a hint of flowers in the lower background it made a stunning image. |

If you will look at the original Red Mountain scene the sky is a bit different on the left than on the right...but, it is what it is... |

I agree with Sherry that the crooked poles are a distraction. However, if you tried to straighten them would it put the horse off balance? You did well with the lighting under very difficult conditions... |

I agree about the cropping off the top and bottom...While you would like to show the distant land, I think it is a distraction to the action of the dolphins....very well done as far as composition and lighting... |

My only comment would be to do some cropping all around which would place more emphasis on the birds...as there is so much negative space above them...Also, maybe it's my 86 year old eyes, but the head of the one on the left doesn't appear as sharp as the other one...I agree that some people are NOT true bird photographers, and act in such ways (like speeding, etc) while around wildlife which can destroy one trying to get photographs...Great color and detail, especially on the right swan... |

I like this version better than the previous one, because of the blurred images...I would keep all of them in color, but the idea of having only the one in the center would be another choice... |

I found the reflections in his glasses to be a distraction. I appreciate your trying to capture him smoking, but it just doesn't do anything for me....also, his hand and wrist take up almost half of the image....If anything I would like to have seen a bit more of his hat and not cut off his face at the top of his glasses....good try, but not for me...sorry.. |

Very well done character study...However, the very bright letters on the left seem out of place...and they were the first things I saw..My personal opinion would be to crop them out, as I don't feel they add to the scene...or tone them down so that they don't jump right at you....Love the pose of the man sitting waiting for something or just resting. |
