I don't think I have the "tiles" filter in Topaz but will look for it...I do have one in Elements that is called Glass, which allows one to put the image under glass with various block sizes....a lot of fun...I did one for our Chapters Showcase in PSA and it was shown in the Journal, but I forget which issue now..."Red Chilies Under Glass".... |

I like the fact that you cropped the image for simplicity....However, if it were mine, I would have removed the buoy, as I feel it is a distraction...just my opinion...
Good seeing in capturing the 2 boats as they were....

Great idea with the rose...Have never tried to do this, but think I will now that I see how effectively the end result is....good detail in the bubbles and petals... |

I like your end result with the flowers....I have used the Topaz Cave Dwellers filter many times on many different subjects, but have yet to try to on flowers...civil war scenes, Bodie buildings'cars, shoes, etc....all have been very successful in competitions...thanks for allowing me to see what can be done with some flowers... |

Well done....However, I would prefer to have the center of the flower more "off center", and not so much bull's eye....I do like the blurred effect as it pulls one's eye to the main subject, which is the center of the flower..Also, try flipping it so that the center is in the upper right corner... |

Another way to highlight the one carousel horse is to make a black and white image, and then past it on top of the colored one...then, very carefully "erase" the one large horse in the front...This would make it stand out more...It will take some work to do this but I think it is doable....This might help to eliminate the very busy background... |

Agree with the comments that this one definitely needed to be cropped on the left side, as there is nothing there to add to the image...Nice and sharp throughout, with great detail in the small buds... |

Very well done...love the fact that you were able to get all 3 bridges in one image and in focus...unfortunate that the last bridge "merges" with the 2nd one, but there is still a lot of difference in their structures.... |

generally I like photo shop images, but, this one just doesn't appeal to me...primarily due to the lack of sharpness on her face.....I appreciate the fact that it has had numerous acceptances in the salons, but, as a single image I will have to pass on it...sorry.... |

I agree that a small white or off-white border would separate the girls hair and not have her head disappear into the background...great expression... |

Great capture of the action of a young man feeling frisky!!! My only comment would be to crop out the black metal thing up in the upper left corner, as it's a distraction to the scene... |
