I'm having a hard time seeing faces in the trunk also, but, adding the bird makes it a stronger statement..Love the creative movement of the grass, flowers and lines of the tree trunk....good job... |

Love the creative effect on the image. I would have preferred to see more of the beach since that is your title..overall, though, it is a very strong image.... |

One of your best images I have seen from you. After reading all the comments on the red light and door, I'm not sure which version I like the best....true, the red light is also an eye catcher, and removing it does help...however it's your photo and you have the final say on it...both images are great....personal choice..... |

I found that her nails were a bit too soft and too close for my taste...great composition...Love her expression.... |

I, also, welcome you to our group. Your explanation of the colors, etc. makes the image much more interesting...It is amazing what we can bring out in photo shop also. Very good composition and the sunrise really hits you...These photo aren't the easiest to take...I'm not a morning person, but I have gotten up at 4 am in the dark to hike to a spot to get the sunrise over the Death Valley dunes... what I got was worth every minute of lost sleep!!! |

I think this image is good, however, I would have moved a bit to the left and used the trees as a background, instead of the river...this puts it into a different perspective. However, keeping the river shows where the flowers were taken.. |

To my taste I would have cropped all of the rocks in the foreground and concentrated on the bridge...the softness does not bother me, in fact, I thought you might have used one of the painting effects in Topaz or other creative software.... |

I think Richard's cropping makes it a stronger image...Initially I would have said crop the bright blue off the right side, as it is a distraction to the statue...it competes with the blue behind it... |

I agree with all the comments given by the others in the group...these subjects are what I really enjoy finding and photographing...good seeing and use of the texture really makes it a very strong image. |

Yes, I took several with people closer toward me, but I chose this one, as it was used to fit the assignment of shadows.. the person at the end was an added touch... |
