Very nice rendition. Since the bench is a "heavy" in the scene it needs to be more at the bottom on the photo...unless there were things at the top that were distracting...I, too, feel the horizontal grass is a distraction and would have cropped it off the bottom...I do like the monochrome effect over the colored one... |

Really like the creative effect on this scene...takes it one step above the ordinary...gives it a very old look.... |

Very effective photo....one that we don't see very often. good job. However, I do think the very wide white border is a bit too much. |

I hadn't thought of using the typewriter and shoes together, but, maybe I have some that will work...thanks for the suggestion. Will see what I can come up with.... |

Found the cat the same place I found the shoes...local thrift store...had the shoes first and then found the cat...a perfect match!! Just goes to show you what an impact such items make with the shoes..whether it be some flowers, small toys, scarves, etc. Am thinking about doing an article for the PSA Journal on the shoes...will be very hard to choose which ones to send for the publication. |

Very nice effect on the keyboard...well done...I have a very old portable typewriter that belonged to my Mother-in-law when she was a young girl...so, it's at least 100 years old as she was born in 1898. |

Looking at the photo I see that I need to move the cat a bit more to the right, about 5 o'clock position, which would leave more space between it and the tip of the shoe. |

I agree with you on the background...I wasn't too happy with it but it was what it was....will see if I can get a more subdued and less distracting background somewhere... |

Ok, now I get the difference between the 2 images....since they were both of the same subject it was confusing. The abstract colors work well, as an abstract, whereas the full image tell the story... |

Love your image of the fireworks, as it tells a great story with the people in the foreground... |

I agree with everyone else, the image would benefit by cropping the out of focus foreground and also eliminating some of the water at the top...very nice and sharp critter!! |

I'm having a hard time trying to decide what is what...the top square image show only color, whereas the vertical image Richard did is spectacular, and really tells a great story. |

I took the liberty of cropping your image and illiminating several distracting elements.... to me, this is a more interesting image showing what she is doing.. |

Lots of things to see in this photo, with the emphasis on the woman and birds....Think I would have either cropped out or cloned out the pieces of shrubbery in the lower right corner...at least the tall one.... |

Interesting scene...makes one wonder just what she will end up with on the wall...nit picking, but I would have removed the out of focus object in the foreground. Think it could be cloned out very easily.... |

Love the colors and texture in this photo....which is one of my favorite subjects. I would have liked to see the entire hinge. |
