I agree with all of the comments above regarding the eagle...To me, the bird is "out of place" in the scene, which is quite dramatic in itself....Love the DaVinci effect though... |

I too, would have liked to have seen the original, especially when such heavy creativity is done.. Good color choices and effects.... |

Love your idea with the license plate....I have a collection of probably 300+ of personalized license plates that I intend to use for a photo essay some day. My only comment is that I would have liked to have had the license plate just a tad smaller...It would still tell the story, but I feel it dominates the scene...However that is what you want and it's your photo.. |

One of your best flower images yet!!!! Love the texture and color of the Geranium...I haven't tried flowers with layers in Texture yet, but have several I could play around with... |

Thanks...it takes a lot of work and thought to put together a shoe photo...some are better than others...I was stuck on what to add to this one until I spied some old wheat stalks on my patio...and they worked very well...especially when I lightened the 3 in the front...I feel they added a different texture... |

Your photo of the shoes is quite different from what I have been doing with women's heels...go to group 20 and see one that I did recently...great idea, but, to my thinking it lacks a base...good detail and color...Shirley Ward... |

Actually I liked the far right table in the scene as it gave a more interesting perspective....the 3 is better than 2 thing...I did clone out the BBQ pit on the left edge just behind the first table, which was a distraction... |

Good photo of your little dog...But, if it were mine I would crop to just below her collar and made it a portrait...When shooting animals (and children)one needs to get down to their level, otherwise parts of their bodies are distorted, as are the legs of the dog... Hopefully, you will get some good scenes from your trip.... |

Good composition and lighting...having her looking directly to me is a bit uncomfortable....perhaps she could have moved her head just a bit to the right and had more of her hair showing on her head...or perhaps having her head tilted downward... |

Great detail in the body and feathers...I really admire someone who can get these "action" shots of birds in the air...something I have never been able to do, even with my D200 Nikon SLR, which I don't use any more...my birds are all shot with my Panasonic Lumix P&S camera...a fantastic little camera, but, it has it's limitations...last month's Red-tailed Hawk was a rare shot.... |

The detail in the Gecko's head is excellent....Would have liked to have had the head at a 3/4 angle instead of a profile, but, that might not have been possible...good nature shot... |

Since I was unable to get off the road I could not walk up to one of the tables to show footprints, so...no footprints... |

Hi from groups #20 and #23...Years ago we did the same thing only used clear corn syrup...take some match sticks and dip into the syrup and let it drop or place it on the glass....you can distort the drops to make it more interesting...be sure to clean the glass well between placing more drops on it...you can control the sizes of the drops by adding more to a drop....really a lot of fun... |
