I actually don't like either change, I would make the fisherman a silhouette. I think it gives it more interest. |

I think it is a very dramitic shot, flattening the horizon would be better, but it is very slight of a problem, could easily be fixed in Lightroom with a lens correction.- |

I added a little Texture +20 and Clarity +10 to sharpen up the image. I then added a little more of the image to the right, to help keep it off center. This makes it a little stronger of an image. Nice shot. |

I like the mono version, I agree with Cindy that the upper sky right draws your eye away, although it did not bother me that much, you could simply darken that part of the sky about -.25 to just tone it down a bit. Plus I did drop the highlights so they are not that bright in that same area. It makes a slight difference, but I actually like your original in mono better. |

I always liked trains, a really nice shot, great s curve action and the smoke adds to the image. I would not change anything and I like the mono version better than the color. Nice job. |
