50 Jun 19 Comment I like the texture throughout the image, the light shade in the windows on the right do not bother me. It could use a little more foreground, especially on the left side, it feels abrupt when first looking at the image from the left. Jun 23rd

50 Jun 19 Comment Good timing on the shot, it is a little confusing, you need to study the image more than just a quick glance. One thing that might help next time is to photograph the pole vaulter from the other side, so that the image works going from the left to the right. I think that is what is confusing some people. I flipped the image and it is more comfortable to look at. I know this would not let it qualify for PJ, but it might work better in Mono. Just a thought. Jun 23rd
50 Jun 19 Comment I like the lines and the curves of the image, I also feel the clouds add something to the image. My only problem with the image is that the clouds are on the left side, which tends to lead my eyes out of the image. I tried flipping horizonatly and the image feels better to me. Just a thought. 50 Jun 19 Comment I think you have a great shot, I like how the steam from the engine is different from the clouds. You have the track lined up nicely. It is composed very well. Cannot make any suggestions for improvement. Jun 23rd
50 Jun 19 Comment Another version is that I just did the cropping and removed a couple of people. Both images work, but I think I like the one with the vehicles removed best. Jun 23rd
50 Jun 19 Comment Nice shot, I like the straight road, I did not like the people that were on the sides of the road, so I removed them. I also removed the vehicles and parking lots. Then I cropped off some of the top. I then added about +30 in contrast to the image. It really is just some minor tweaking. Jun 23rd
