I agree with Cindy, it is a little noisy and a little low in contrast. I removed the truck in the upper right, added contrast, then ran it thru Nik Color Efex using the detail enhancer, then back into photoshop to reduce the noise. Otherwise, I think it is a nice shot. |

I think you have a good start and an interesting image. It needs more contrast. I did this in a couple of ways. I duplicated the layer and took it into Nik Color Efex and ran the Detail Extractor on it. Brought it back to Photoshop and created a layer mask to get rid of the tree and just had the roots with the detail extractor. I then use the camera raw filter to increase the contrast overall by +20, then did +20 on Clarity as well. Then added a slight vignette to the corners. This made the root stand out a little more. |

Interesting looking character, I like the processing and the eyes staring into the camera. I don't find him scary, he just looks interesting. Another way you could do this makes him look grittier, I tried using Nik Filters with the Detail Enhancer to make him more gritty looking, but I do like how you processed him as well. |

I like your composition and how the flower fall over the edge. I think you did a great job of processing and I like how it fades to black, with just a hint of detail in the background. There is the small section on the left side with the backs of the flowers is a little distracting, not a big deal, but maybe one flower in that area would be helpful. |

I like to photography succulents and I think you capture this one pretty well. I like the white lines that fad to black and how all of it fads to black inside the plant. The one thing that is a little distracting is the 3 front petals that are slightly out of focus, I wish they were sharper. |

I like old trains, and you did a nice job of capturing it. I do have a little problem with the toning, I think it is a little too strong, I would dial it back a little. The second problem I have is the train blends into the background too much, I have a hard time telling the rocks from the train. Lastly, it seems a little too hot, so I toned down the highlights, slightly desaturated the sepia toning. and I blurred the background to make the train stand out a little more. I think this has a lot of potential. |
