Gary,
I actually did that to get the blue background from the sky. Do you think more of an orange color would work better. I also thought of adding a base to it to make it more like a globe. |

Nice waterfall, just some minor changes would help it. I actually darkened it by -.80, added contrast of +40 and added vibrance +20. This helped give the image a little more life, yours looked a little too bright. |

Nice Blimp shot, it could use a little more contrast, and then I dodged the cabin area just a bit to have it stand out more. The added contrast had darkened the underside of the blimp. Dodging the cabin help it stand out a little more. Just an idea. |

It is an interesting image, but the waterfall is too strong for me, my eye stays on the waterfall instead of going to the building. I flipped the image and it is more comfortable, the water leads you to the buildings. Just a thought. |

Gary did a nice job of straightening and the added contrast helps. The image gives a nice view of the pond, it looks like a nice inviting place to sit and relax. |

Nice lighting and composition. I like the out of focus background showing the barn, makes for a good composition. |

I like Cindy's suggestion the crop works well and the road going from left to right is more comfortable. I think it has good contrast and interest.

I think it does have a good story, and I like how you converted it. I have processed it my way and got this result. It was processed in On1 using a green filter to process to monochrome. I cropped for the river in a spot I thought a good spot. |

I like both color and the mono. The sky needs a little help. I used a graduated filter going from the top of the chimney to the top of the frame. I added a little clarity +20, contrast +25 and exposure -10. The image shows the results, it is just a little change, but I think it helps. I also like Cindy approach as well. A really nice shot of the Cana Light. |

Good action, nice blurring of background, I like that the player feet are both off the ground. Good expression on players face, the white sock does not bother me that much, might try to tone done a little, but not a big deal. I think it is a good shot. |

Good expression on his face, caught him at a good point in his stride. The image could use a little more contrast, otherwise I think it is an excellent image. The other images are just as good, the celebration and the skater with his son. |

This image has great expression on both teams faces. It makes for an interesting image, but for me not knowing the sport, I am not sure what is happening. There is no point of reference for me. It would help seeing the goal or the ball or both. It is still an interesting image. I just not sure what has happened, although I can tell one side is happy and the other player is unset. |

Gerry,
I think it would be acceptable, I wonder how well it will do, it could use more action for me. It is good for showing the paddlers, but not a lot of action, maybe a bigger wave or something. |
