Effective ! Suggest you darken the sky a little and lighten the tones of the kid's clothing. I once took an image of colored lights at night from the sixth story window of my hotel room, with the shutter set a one second while I was rotating the camera by hand.

This has the appearance of a damp-paper watercolor painting. The tonal reversal has helped a lot. |

This effect adds to the old and dusty feel a place gives to the observer. A lighter tone in the sky might giver a darker "feel" to the subject. |

Looks like the result of a Mercalli 10 quake (a force 10 quake has never been recorded). The distant tall buildings look like they got the worst of it. This is a real eyestopper! |

Very interesting. Every time I look at this I see something new. You might want to consider dropping the vertical placement of the center image a bit, so the whole thing looks less like a rogue picture lineup. |
