I see a cat's ears and head shape in the upper part of the rocks. The "structure" is so out of place it becomes part of the fantasy feeling this image gives to me. Geologically, the white quartz striations are likely filling joint cracks in the dark rock, and could have been implaced a million years or more after the rock itself formed. |

I enjoy this a lot. All of the image is in warm tones, so I don't thick the heron needs to be more blue. The contrast between the sharp bird and the lightly textured sky and frame adds to the effectiveness of this image. |

I would like to see all of the bird. The rest is to me an interesting fantasy. Maybe a few stars in the dark sky would add to it -- but then the hills are in broad daylight -- but this is logic, not fantasy. |

Good impact in this image. Suggest "cleaning up" the left edge of the background via cloning. |

Monochrome on this one is a good idea; it helps to emphasize the subtle textures in the images. Extending the image to the left to make room for more white hair to frame the face might be interesting to try. |

Nicely done ! Suggest cropping 15% off the top so the white railings are not thru the middle. |
