An exquisite capture of a precious instant. The sheep and the human both seem to have determined looks on their faces. I don't believe the background as is contributes much to the image. I'll suggest trying to open it up a little. Perhaps there's some more detail there that would enhance the context. |

Always experimenting and exploring, you are, Dennis. What a fun image ! I do especially enjoy the double "N." |

Such a common subject, but so very well executed ! The intense colors manage to be subtle; and I really like how the heavy darkness on the right is balanced by the human silhouette on the left. Also, the horizon is perfectly placed. |

Mysterious and intriguing, but I do think that the massiveness of the absolute blacks kind of overwhelm everything else. |

I too very much like the B&W. Superb composition. I think it would be good to soften the background, so that its detail doesn't compete with the main subject. |

I really like the composition and the unusual point of view. Perhaps a little more contrast and an overall darkening would be good. You'd probably love Stanley Greenburg's book, "Invisible New York: The Hidden Infrastructure of the City." |
