Yah, I understand. A dilemma, for sure. Fortunately, the true vertical line of the window frame provides sufficient info to enable the viewer's brain to make the correction.

An inherently fascinating image, very well composed. I'd add a little contrast to increase the dynamism of the scene and also to bring out of the details of use and wear (e.g. hand printed note on the door and the peeling paint on the ceiling). |

I like the top one because of the look on the subject's face, though I'd like to see the right end of the log. Because of position of the log on the bottom image, the partial view seems not to matter. But, for that one, I'd open the figure to show a little detail. |

Including the trees in the composition strongly communicates the height and steepness of these ridges. On my screen, the colors, especially the reds, seem oversaturated. |
