The colors are gorgeously captured. The sharp deep field of focus brings me right into the scene. The lens distortion and slight incline are increasingly evident as I look left. I tried some lens correction and substantial crop; but, it's then no longer the same image. |

An ominous confrontation. It feels like you caught the moment just before the deadly action commences. I did some cropping to keep the focus on the drama. |

This image makes me feel the immensity of the space, and implicitly communicates the smallness of the photographer alone in his vessel. Good luck on your journey !
One odd thing: The small island at the center appears to be doubled or accompanied by its shadow. A multiple exposure? A photographed optical illusion ? |

Interesting experiment ! I most like the portion of the image in which both trees and background are in focus. |

I very much like the idea of this image -- its spaces and distances. A couple of suggestions, one useable and the other not (unless you re-take): Make the sky, which so dominates the image space, more dramatic by developing its contrast and, if possible, color variety. Second, the level at which the line of distant mountains crosses the tops of the pavilion, lamppost, and tree is disturbing, at least to me. I think I would have tried to compose the image so that this background element would cut across, say, the midpoint of the pavilion etc. |
