Thanks, I did try different backgrounds and ended up liking the black. I do like your suggestion of the white boarder which I will try. L |

Isn't it amazing how they blend in with their surroundings? I don't know what mm you were zoomed at, however, I would have increased my ISO and speed. Also,
you would benefit from a tripod with that lens and you didn't mention using one. |

That looks like a fun shoot. You did a good job with the lighting presented. The one thing that catches my eye is the woman's awkward position of her arm. |

I think you needed a longer exposure, 15 sec. didn't get the job done. The composition is good. |

What a treat to find these fiddlers! Your image tells a story and I think your sepia treatment is ok. However, I feel the image would have been stronger if the two people in the front right were in focus and you had eliminated the lady in the back right. It appears space was tight and would have been a good place for a super wide lens. I still see a lot of noise even though you said you ran in thru noise reduction software. |
