With any animal portrait , it helps to have the eye in focus. It looks like his eye is shut. The color looks a bit over saturated and makes it look unreal to my eye. If you had had the opportunity to wait until he had his drink and looked up, with some water dripping would have made a more interesting story.

This is a very nice landscape. If you had had the opportunity, it would have be great to be able to move a bit to the left to line up the rows . You might consider a higher crop, I am not sure you need everything on the left. Just a thought. |

My eye goes to the white spots on the front of the top. ( At first I thought it was a ing thing on ice) I would like to see some motion for the top. That would make it more dynamic as it would look like its was coming towards the viewer. |

The ripples are interesting, makes a fun abstract. Being a stickler for detail, I see a few messy areas that I would like to see cleaned up. (The top left third row of ripples it looks like you did some work on removing the spots and they are still there. Also ,
the right lower side there is something, a line I would remove. ( As I scrolled over and down, I thinking maybe you don't need the bottom part with the most drops of water.Because your eye goes to the brightest part and that is in this photo.) The right side is sharp, however the upper right is soft and that bothers me. |

I like Harvey's crop. It brings one's eye to the star of the show while also getting rid of some spots on the petals . Very nice image. |
