Harley,
I am a little short this month, so think I will pass. Hopefully, I don't hurt your feelings! |

My first impression was it had A Lot of Phallic Symbolism. My next thought was , well, you can't say that.....LO! Then I scrolled down, and well, guess what.... a female anatomy appeared! Well, Harley, you've got all the bases covered. More contrast as Linda introduced, print it 30x 40 and it will sell for a million $$$$$! |

Black and white was a good choice to simplify. Perhaps a tiny bit of burning to introduce some more contrast and bring out the texture. |

Looking at this , I get the can smell the dark, damp swamp. I love these types of images and you have done a nice job with the tones. I guess to-night I am seeing images within images. I would take the left side with the two trunks, make it a vertical, which gives you a straight line all the way to the back. I would crop right up
to the first tree on the left and a smudge pass the 2nd tree. Just a thought. |

This is a wonderful image and to bring it to the next level would be having the nuns doing their thing. I was scrolling down to write this, and saw half of the image. Just the pots and trough, which is also wonderful because of the shapes and textures. Possibly very nice in B&W. You have a couple of images within . Nice job. |

Thanks everyone. I fiddled with the level and at first I thought it was straight and every time I looked it was off. My husband has been sick and I hadn't had a chance to take my camera for walk. The sun was setting and I was desperate to make an image with the wonderful clouds. I had no foreground, so I was hoping I could get a good reflection. ( Too dark) I like your suggestions. Do you thinks it works, lacking a foreground element to anchor it? |
