This is a lovely image and I would agree with Linda, the wonderful tree is cut off as well as the roof line.... it needs some space. Also, agree that the light seems to becoming from the right. ( I like the black and white, says, Johny One Note!!!!!) |

I guess you and I are in the Rodeo, cutting and reining mode! Phew! I think you put entirely too much work into this image. The original gives a sense of place and I like the people in the back ground. I would have liked to have seen more action with the rope or what he was going to do. I need some mud flying and a calf running to tell "The Story". Otherwise, he should be sitting there lightening up a Marlboro. |

Beautiful! I have seen this scene so many times and love it. My thought when I first viewed this was to dial back the sun rays I Usually, it is darker and the rays are a soft glow. Perhaps, this is very bright and that is the way it looks. However, I would dial it back a bit and it would bring out more detail. The pews are very sharp and then it drops off. It might be interesting in black and white. |

Great Textures and I do like the black and white. Again, I would experiment with different crops. The building on the right for me is distracting because it is so light. Perhaps, darkening it would make it less so and add balance. My eye seems to go to it and then back to the darker building. ( The darker building could stand on it's own with a pigeon tucked in one of the cervices.......where are they when you need them?) |

They are so fun! Good for you for slowing down and making them shine. I agree, I like the texture slider. Perhaps, a tighter crop would make these little guys pop. The the stuff in the upper left doesn't add anything and I would bring down the bright spot in the middle rear, down. Cropping in from the right and concentrating on the circle in the middle might be an optional. I would play around with different crop options. |

Don,
I received an email about visiting other groups. I randomly picked one and there is your image! As always, I enjoy your work. Perhaps darkening the background would add another element. God is great with detail! nice job.
