I like Linda's crop. The colors and background are pleasant. I am not a bird photographer. ( My husband was one of the top field ornotholist in North America) I never photographed a bird unless it was a mistake or was just there. So you can take my comments with a grain of salt. Your image would be good for a reference book. As an artistic piece, I like to see birds doing something other than just sitting there. |

This is a lovely Abstract. Love the different tones and movement. The only thing I would suggest is to dodge and burn to give it more dimension. In my opinion, Linda's version is a too crunchy. You have a foreground , a middle and beyond. You are the artist, interpret as you feel it should be.It caught your eye for a reason. |

Very nice to have that, I hope behind us. I love Fall but I am happy Spring has Sprung here and it is nice to see the vibrant colors. This is a nice image but seems a bit crunchy to me. I would back off on the sharpening a bit . The tones are nice.

I can smell the incense. A fun image. My eye goes right to the light on the right which I would bring down. The reflection could be cloned out. Perhaps try duo tone and accent the incense burner. |

Thanks Mark,
Everyone sees things differently. I felt the motion of the water, rock and that was what I was trying to show. Happy that you saw it. |

Hi Linda,
There is no HDR. I wanted the surging water and it wasn't smooth. That is the subject. |
