Thanks you. I thought this image could be a photo journalism image and statement, "Stop Coal Mining." The train did go on for ever! Coal mining is coming back in this area and you see town after town in such poverty. Also, there are many cemeteries which are huge which is also another statement about the dangers of coal mining. The countryside is beautiful. ( West Virginia) |

I didn't get the memo that boats were the subject his month! I would be inclined to crop a bit from the top. I don't think that adds anything to the image. I would have liked to see more on the right side, it looks a bit jammed in. The grass in the front looks a bit crunchy and too vivid for my taste. The shrimp boats are always a wonderful subject. |

Nice colorful image and as Mark said, it is tough to get a sharp image without a tripod. I might consider a higher crop because the lower portion of the stem is not that attractive. The star of the show is the butterfly. Another option would be is to do an abstract and use only the body of the butterfly. |

The boat looks a bit top heavy, like it might tilt any second. Anyway, about the image. This is a case where a ND filter or even a polarizer ( you didn't mention you used one) would have helped. And, or, bracketed to get the sky, and tones of the boat.I might try black and white to neutralize the blown out sky.
The composition is good.
