For me, the orange buoy is the first thing I notice. A tighter crop would eliminate all the water on the bottom and get me closer to the 35 boat. The sky needs some work.
(Perhaps doing a replacement???) |

Interesting image. I think I would crop out the left and leave the tree shadows. It adds another element because you would end up with two trees and three shadows. Crop it a bit tighter so the sliver of tree on the right isn't visible. |

This is a very pleasing image. I don't know if it is me but it seems to tilt a bit to the right. You know me by now, I think it is a bit over saturated. The clouds are fantastic.
This is a part of NJ most people don't know and can't believe there is farm land in the State. May I ask where it was? ( I am from NJ, now living in SC.) I like both versions , Harley's crop and your original. It is open to your interpretation. |

I agree, there is something about the focus that is throwing me off. My eye keeps searching for something sharp. Perhaps, adding a texture would distract me from searching . The tonality is wonderful. |
