43 Dec 21 Comment Leo, I am thinking the same way Bruce was thinking about the lighting of the subjects is difference than the light of the people walking. I feel you caught the dog and her owner so good but the rest of the image does not fit or match. Great image of the dog and girl. Love it. Dec 15th
43 Dec 21 Reply Welcome aboard to Group 43. Hope to learn from you and get some pointer. Dec 9th
43 Dec 21 Comment WOW, Love catching birds doing something. Great catch. Very good composition. Birds eye is very sharp. I put in camera raw and selected the subject and tried to bring out more detail in the bird. Select subject again and darken the background a little to have the bird pop more. Dec 6th
43 Dec 21 Comment I feel like this is a very interesting image and story. It wasn't until I tried It in Black and white did I see the beautiful tones, texture, lines in the clouds and the reflections in the water in the pond. Dec 6th
43 Dec 21 Comment Andrew, Beautiful image. Brilliant fall colors. The fall color steals the show. I love the way the Evergreen trees breaks up the colors. The only thing I would do would be to crop the image to bring the horizon line down to the rules of thirds. Dec 6th
43 Dec 21 Comment Mark, Very unique image. I love this creative idea. Looks like half black and white and half color image. Great detail. The only thing I would add would be to clone the white line at the bottom out. I wanted to see what it would look like in Black and white. Dec 6th

77 Dec 21 Comment Witta, I really like the original image. I like to one you are showing too. Creative idea. Love the colors. The vase is running off the page. I would like to see some space at the bottom of the vase. I would like to see the arrangements at a tilt. Maybe just have the flowers and no vase and tilt the flowers. Just ideas. Dec 15th
77 Dec 21 Comment Your daughter is so pretty. I did put a visual image. In camera raw with a mask I tried to separate the background and her hair. I put a blur - gaussian Blur mask. and brushed out the blur on her eyes and lips and nose. I wanted to take out some of the light on the right side of her face. Dec 15th
77 Dec 21 Comment Connie, I like the color image with the Canola. But, I also like what you did with the Black and White too. You can do some much with either image. I love old barns. I also think the birds are a good touch. This is just my suggestions. I would flip the image to have the openings on the left side. I would to see more detail in the wood in the old barn. I would to see more detail in the growth on the side of the barn. I would have darkened the vignetting instead of white. Dec 15th
77 Dec 21 Comment Beautiful image. I don't feel like I could improve this image. Very nice sunrise. I just tried something. I used a blur filter - gaussian blur to give it a dreamy mood to this image. Just a suggestion. it is a beautiful image with out that. Dec 15th
77 Dec 21 Comment Michael. This is a beautiful image. I love the colors, tones, textures and shapes. I took the image into camera raw and mask the subject and pulled out some of the shadows and the details and then inverted the image to work on the background. You have so many details in the vase. Great job on this image. Dec 15th

99 Dec 21 Comment Peter, Very creative image. Good use of the rules of thirds with the nun. I would not change a thing. Dec 16th
99 Dec 21 Reply Hi Randy, I agree with Gerard. I am seeing the same things he is seeing. You have the hay bales leading my eye to the white barn. The hay bales on the right side is almost like another image. The over all image is very moody image. Good job capturing this image. Dec 16th
99 Dec 21 Comment WOW! Beautiful image Michael. Everyone have some great ideas if it was their image. I do too have a suggestion. What if you flipped the image to have a leading line with the small rocks leading to the larger rock the subject? I have a visual image. Dec 16th
99 Dec 21 Reply I am so glad you made some comments on my black and white. The cropping is a good idea. I never thought of that. Just like animals...... give them some room to move or go. Did you use photoshop and where did you get the copper river tone. Any time you see my work please give me more ideas. I love to learn. Thank you so much. Looking forward to your talk. Dec 15th
99 Dec 21 Comment Yes, I like what you did. Dec 13th
99 Dec 21 Comment Gerard, This artichoke has lots of texture. I feel like it looks great in black and white. The stem is a little soft. I have a visual image. I made it a little warmer by using color filter, orange 81 in Photoshop. Dec 2nd
99 Dec 21 Comment Barbara, Beautiful tones and textures. Love the designs in this image. I like the way the shadows are pulled out. Very sharp and great leading lines. The only thing I would do would be to tone down the one puffy cloud that is on the left side. My eye keeps going to that white spot. Dec 2nd
