Well, I am going to disagree. I think this is a wonderful image. I would crop a bit from the left so that the moon is not too central. Or from the right if you are inclined that way. I don't think it need any other change. Kudos. |

Charissa, like Pat the first thing that struck me was the contrast between the old and the new. I really like that. I can't comment on what you might have seen with a different perspective since I wasn't there, but I do see that crane 2/3 down on the left that I think you should delete. Not sure I would change anything else unless you wanted to process artistically. |

This is a fascinating image. I think Larry already pointed out the color balance and haze, both which looked to me to dilute the color of the photo. Not bothered by the blur on the hands, since it looks very real, and "Oh, wow, is that hot." I certainly would work with this one, since I think it is a real winner. |

The lighting wins this one for me. There is so much texture here that I can almost crawl around the walls. I love the way the dark (deep blue?) sky presents against the textures and lighting. I would expect to see less texture in the well lighted areas, so that doesn't bother me. Wonderful, Larry. |

Thank you, all. As always I very much appreciate your opinions. I am definitely going to crop out some water. Also believe I will flip and crop out the lighthouse. I took another look at the snow and my histogram does not show clipping. It may that it is, since I simplified a bit. Will have to play with that and see where it goes, but I am definitely working on this one. |

Oh, Larry, thank you. My first reaction was to dismiss eliminating the lighthouse, but the more I thought about it, the more it makes sense. I love what you have done with this, the crop, etc. I am going to try it and then give it my own stamp. |
