To me, this final rendition now has a somewhat abstract feel; and I love it. I love that I don't have to figure out what I'm seeing.... I just have to love the tones and contrast in the image. Your loose, heavy brush strokes are fantastic and really bring this to life. Well done. |

I agree with everyone else; simply WOW!
I love the textured quality that the oil paint processing choices gave to the rhinos and background. And, I can't believe that you saw this in the wild. Amazing!
Since this is a non-realistic presentation, I might suggest the addition of just a very tiny white catch light in the baby rhino's eye. With or without that, this is a fantastic image.

I love what you did with the tree line, sky, and reflection of this image. It has a very Impressionistic feel and mood. And now, the fireworks themselves are set off well against their new surroundings. Well done!
I tried fireworks for the first time last week - definitely not as successful as your image. I'll keep trying. |

So, this back alley is a Beatles zone!!!... kinda like Penny Lane or Abbey Road. I hope that there are other installations as well.... maybe "Lucy in the sky with diamonds?"
This resulting image is fantastic. I love the greens and blues. I love the effect of the top water line and the bottom sandy area. I honestly would not change a thing.
Excellent result and well done. |
