I won't get to a safari anytime soon, either. So this was a great trip to the jungle for you! The oil paint filter did a great job in transforming this to a painterly image. The mood created is just so much fun. Great job. |

An excellent painting - very photorealistic. I need to do more of these. Your brush strokes are always wonderful, and thanks for the info on what brushes you used. I especially love the brush strokes on the flowers. I know you think it needs more work, but I think it is wonderful as it is. |

I love your processing choices. Now, rather than a straight B&W, there are tonalities in the sepia spectrum. To me, those tones are so much more appealing. Like you, I love the lighting and shadows. The front "vase" alone has me mesmerized. I love all the shading on this. Great job. |

This is a kingfisher, and in my opinion, it is your best painting yet! I love all your brush strokes on the bird and his house. Excellent result, I wouldn't change a thing on this one. |

The softness and mood created by your processing choices are wonderful. This was a great transition from the original. Perfect crop and perfect lighting. I love it. (If there was anything to nitpick, I would tone down the four highlight/white areas in the foreground leaf). |
