Wow, look at you. This is a landscape painting. You used the mixer brushes, correct? I have yet to paint a landscape. You painted this so well, detail where needed and looser strokes where detail was not needed. I love how you painted the yellows and pinks of the water lily - my eye goes right to that. I like this as presented, but also consider a crop to draw more attention to the water lily. I would crop out the top third (right above the two leaf structures on the left) as well as the right third (cropping out about 1/3 of the dominant leaf on the right). This should still place the lily off center. See if you like it !! |

I love the abstract feel of this painted image, and yet I like that I can tell that the origin was of leaves. My eyes travel along the veins of the leaves - and I find that very calming and relaxing. The different shades of greens and light yellow are wonderful. And I love the overlapping translucency of some of the leaves. Wonderful result. |

What a great composite. I love that you kept the cloud reflections in the water. Your placement of the paddleboarder is perfect; especially having him at the intersection of the horizon line and to the right of the major cloud formation. Your resultant painting is unified in its textures, contrast, and image scale. You did a great job on this. |

I actually like both versions of this image. The original has a soft, painterly feel. Your processing choices for the painting created a more saturated and dramatic image; which succeeded in reaching your desired effect. I also love the sharpness and color contrasts of the stamen's red, yellow and green areas. Excellent painting - I wouldn't change a thing. |

Both versions are wonderful. However, I prefer the latest version. I love the addition of leaves in the lower right, ing around, and hugging, the additional petal. I love your brushstrokes in that area as well. I think the color is fine and would not change it. Excellent result. |
