56 Jun 23 Comment Gorgeous painting. For this image, the more contrasty background works (as compared to Nancy's subtle background). The flower itself has impact, so the background is complementary to that. Your paint strokes are wonderful, keep up the good work. Jun 28th
56 Jun 23 Comment I think this is magnificent. I love the shading on the background - it adds to the allure of the flowers themselves. My personal preference is for this more subtle background rather than an mottled, contrasty one. This is painted so well, and I love the mood of this painting. I wouldn't change a thing. 56 Jun 23 Comment I love this rendition. The ombre effect of dark on the bottom of the painting to lighter at the top leads me up the lupine stems. Well done. Jun 28th
