My favorite thing about this painting is the sketch-like background. It really removed the "busy" peripherals and still gave the composition a sense of place while also allowing us to concentrate on the subject matter. I will definitely use this technique in the future. As for the yarn rack - well done. I love the look that your processing gave to the colored spools of yarn. This whole image conveys an historical, antique feel. |

Absolutely SO worth it!!! I love this. You made this bird and painting come to life. The orange colorations added to the sugar bird are fantastic. The brush strokes on the bird are outstanding. The background gradient of green to yellow is perfect for this subject. I honestly would not change a thing. And, as Nancy said, you are doing a fabulous job with the mixer brush. Addictive, isn't it!! |

A great composite and a great composition. It's hard to believe that this sight does not actually exist. I love your processing choices to add more color, saturation and contrast. Great creative image. |

Very well executed abstract. I love how my eye travels along the path of the bright greens. Both the light and dark greens tonalities serve to give great depth and dimension to your composition. You've achieved a wonderful creative effect with your processing choices. |
