Yes... they are supposed to be teeth. It is hard to convey this detail, so I will relook at this area and perhaps eliminate the "teeth." |

As I sit here in snowy Connecticut, I am hoping to see signs of spring SOON. And, to me, crocus in snow is a definite sign of Spring. I love the juxtaposition of purples and greens in this rendition. What great complementary colors. I love that the white snow provides both positive and negative space. My one minor suggestion would be to clone out the brown leaves at the top of the frame. This is a wonderful painting. Fingers are crossed that Spring is right around the corner. |

What a great sight to see along your trip. You were definitely there at the right time. I love the original image, but your processing choices bring this to an elevated level. The Impression preset and the wonderful dark orange coloration are absolutely wonderful. I love the serene mood that was created.
Great, great painting. |

I love the abstract nature of this. I love that I can tell it is foliage. The sweep of your processing choices makes it seem as if the leaves are slowing moving. I like it as presented but would also like to see how you would like it if you cropped out most of the green areas from the top of the painting. Either way, I love this. Great painting. |

I love that you gave the background an illusion of other anthuriums. Those reds and greens really brought my eye to the main subject. I also love the texturization, impressionistic feel that your processing gave this image. I can really see the painterly quality and appeal of the entire image. If indeed, the background and blossom are on separate layers, I might try to tone down, mask or clone out the dark black outline on the lower left of the anthurium. Great painting. |

I don't think the image is actually pixelated; I believe instead that we are seeing the mesh of the screen that you needed to shoot through. And, I do not mind this lack of detail in the ground and foliage. I would try to make the foxes bodies sharper or maybe even use the brushes to smooth out their fur. I agree that more detail on their faces would be ideal. However, I don't think that this detail was even in the original capture. I am just in awe that you saw this scene; and in your own backyard no less. I hope you were able to take many more shots of these foxes on subsequent days and weeks. What great subject matter. |
