Wow. this heron was sooooo small in the original. You turned it into a great work of art. Love the vignette and how you have painted the heron and grasses. I know the eye was hard to replicate, but I would try to work on it a bit more. For me, there is plenty of contrast between heron and background. I do have one more suggestion: I would eliminate the blade of grass that is behind the upraised leg of the heron and his body. Paint in more of the body here. It seems strange that the grass would get into this tight a space. I hope this helps. What a great rendition. Love all your painting stroke choices. |

What a great water color rendition of this image; you absolutely excel at creating these painterly images. For me, this images is also all about the excellent compositional "S" curves. Your chosen crop was perfect as it showcased the great "S" curve between the water and the grasslands. Then, you see the additional "S" curve in the winding road, which exactly mimics the water/grassland curve. What beautiful symmetry!! Great job. |

Yes, Yes, Yes....you have definitely succeeded! Great brush strokes and I, too, love the blue coloration you put into the buffalo. What an artistic result. I only have one personal suggestion: "think" about cloning out the bird under the horn. The bird does merge with the horn and perhaps by cloning it out, the horns would really stand out as unobstructed. I absolutely love this. |

What a great composite, and a great idea, and you executed it perfectly. Both original images had so many background distractions; you were masterful in choosing just what you wanted for your final image. Your Topaz post processing decisions really worked well. My personal preference would be to either tone down the sky or add more tree line so that the sky is not visible. I also agree with Nancy about adding a bit of a shadow to the edge of the dancer. I really love this and you did a great job. |

Your post processing choices have given this image an Orton-like, dreamy quality and I love it. The upgraded colors, especially in the trees and sky, are wonderful. I, too, love the zigzag patterns in the composition; it keeps my eyes moving through the image. Great image and great painting. |
