...and I definitely appreciate all the comments. I guess I dont need to put "barn door" in the title, especially since I painted out most of debris that identified it as coming from the barn. |

I love that the background is not the cluttered original, especially since the tree trunk was merging with the lion's head. It lets us go right to the eyes of this lion. I like the sharp background. My only suggestions for improvement would be to clone out a few areas where "green" colors seem to be confusing (I've attached a screen shot with those areas marked). I also love that you've stayed with this image over the years... it spoke to you and I am so glad you realized your vision. Excellent result. |

This is an excellent painting. Your optimization choices added contrast and vibrance that took the original capture to a higher, artistic level. Purple and green are such harmonious colors; and the various shades of greens and purples in this image are fantastic. I love everything about this, well done!! |

I love what your choices have done for this image. I especially love the "crystalline" effects on the foreground and background. It really allowed this little girl to take center stage (pun intended), and removed all the unnecessary elements. I tried flipping the orientation to see if I liked her better looking towards our right; but then decided I liked your orientation best. So, I wouldn't change a thing! Well done! |

What a great rendition. You've created a great STORY from this capture of a larger scene. The addition of the starfish was genius. I love the canvas texture in the surf and background; and of course, all your brush strokes in the painting. Love it. |

Excellent image. I love the brighter rendition. I also love the vision of water movement that you've created. If your intent was to only show movement in the water, there are areas on the left and upper right that do have the motion blur visible. I do like the motion effect in those areas, but if you want a more realistic image, those areas may need to be masked out further. You've taken this image to another level - well done. |
