Wow, you're giving me flashbacks to the many times I was the one being "scrambled" on these rides. And my expression was nowhere near what this girl is exhibiting. I absolutely love that you cropped the left hand side tight... it DOES make me feel like the forces of nature will slingshot this ride out of the frame. With your choices for this painting (texture, background, paint strokes), I am definitely drawn into the expressions of the two riders - job well done! |

You have captured a great moment in nature. And then, by turning it into a painting, it has become a work of art. I love it. It looks like you used the "oil paint" filter in PS. I love the strokes that were created, especially on the face of the baby. Because Mom's fur on the right side is darker, I might add a little bit of a vignette in that upper left triangle. Other than that, I wouldn't change a thing! Excellent rendition of this great moment. |

BuzSim definitely worked well here in transforming this into a painting. I appreciate the reduction in highlights as well as the improved, earthy tonality.
I cant wait to see this as a mixer brush painting. I can just envision the background you will use and I can anticipate the feather detail! What are your thoughts about the 4th turkey, the one in the middle? Would you include or remove this one? Of course, if you removed it, you'd then have to "build" a turkey breast on the one in the back. With your excellent skills, I know it can be done !!

I love the effect of your painting choices for this image. You've added drama, depth and texture and excellently enhanced the original. And it was a good choice to darken out the houses. The yellow boat now seems clearer/sharper than the red boat; in the original both seemed to have equal weight. If possible, my preference would be to remove a "very small" amount of the "Cave Dweller" filter from the red boat. Then, I think my eyes would travel from the red boat to the yellow boat, then to the rooster tails and back again. Kudos for seeing this as a painting. Very artistic result. |

I love the pops of vibrant color against the green background. My eyes actually follow the movements of the colors, which is excellent. Your processing has added color, contrast, and detail to the original. Great job. |
