Yes... those *&(&&^ unpainted spaces. I'll look more carefully next time. Thanks for you comments. I am also trying to get to a "repaint" of another image today. |

Agreed 100% to go back through previous images.... and I'm even going back to "past" paintings. I'll never be caught up; but I love it. :-) |

Hi Nancy... I believe the version with the rounded mat is the painting. It was originally displayed as the original on the DDG site.
I was able to enlarge the view of the painting and could see the excellent brush strokes and painting techniques you used. I love that you made this a "cameo" shot and eliminated the view of both hands from the left figure. Now the corseted lines of the dress lead me right into the two women. And I applaud that all the soft edges on the bodies of the figures really allows me to appreciate their faces. Excellent painting. |

The choices you've made in transforming this image into a painting have brought it to life. What stands out most for me is the excellent, warm lighting. You have superbly enhanced the diagonal lighting on the fence as well as the wonderful lighting behind the stained glass. Job very well done. |

You get an A+ on this composite. It was expertly executed and I love it. The two original images have different tonalities; you skillfully blended them so that the scene is seamless. The well chosen sketchy look of Colorsketch lets my eyes travel throughout the image. The bad news is that I would have been tempted to go and fine this exact scene - only to discover that it did not exist. I love Photoshop for giving us the opportunities to use our creativity. |

I love this image as a painting. The colors are more vibrant, the foreground seems to dance, and the chosen crop brings us closer to the scene. At first, I thought about cloning out the right hand barn, since it was partially hidden. But the elongated triangle is excellent in this composition - cloning out the barn would negate the appeal of the compositional triangle. Good eye "seeing" this image and bringing out all its features. |

AND... as you know, I can go back again and fix the eyes. I do agree that in this closer version they now look somewhat demonic. I will definitely soften them. Thanks for the suggestion. |
