Gorgeous rendition. The choice of background is excellent; and I like it's smooth textural quality. I also love how you have broken the edges; making the poppies and the background appear soft and dreamy. What a difference from the original harsh and cluttered environment. Wouldn't change a thing! |

To "paint" an image in PS, as shown above, the use of a "mixer brush" is used. This is a tool that is included in PS; and it is located "under" the icon for the normal "brush" tool. To learn the attributes of using mixer brushes, look for tutorials. There are many on You Tube, as well as Kelby, etc. Any tutorial that touts the use of the mixer brush to paint a photo is what you will search for. There are also subscription courses you can take that will teach you how to "paint" in PS. |

With this image, you have now proven that there in NO DAY in Maine that is not "photography weather." I love how this image has been rendered, especially the sky and birds. I might suggest reducing the contrast on the roof just a bit, so that it could more seamlessly blend into the painterly and subtle tonal qualities of the sky and birds. Job well done. |

I love what you have done to make this a more impactful image. What a difference your adjustments have made. The leaves are no longer drab, but take center stage. I agree with Elinor about cropping; my personal suggestion would be to crop out the left third of the image. This would leave the two stands of trees and would make the road more pronounced. Whether you choose to crop or not, this is a wonderful image. Well done. |

I love the many green colors of spring. And you have captured them all wonderfully. My favorite part of this image are the tree trunks above the water line. My attention is drawn to them first, but then their delicate movement leads me to the rest of the image, with its multitude of green hues. Great job. |
